Behind the Lens: 901RunClub x Propel Water at Crosstown Concourse

One of my favorite things about Sprinkle Creative is getting to tell the stories of local communities and businesses here in Memphis, TN. Recently, I had the chance to photograph 901RunClub for a branding session along with... drumroll... their official hydration sponsorship with @PropelWater!
A Community on the Move
If you’ve ever seen @901RunClub in action, you know it’s about way more than a running club - it’s about community, encouragement, and showing up for one another. The three co-founders, Jeremy, Darryl and Jarius (pictured above in this order), started the running club in 2023 in hopes to get Memphis moving, whether it be running or walking. And wow! Has the group grown! I've attended their runs, and I can attest it's a great time!
We set the shoot early morning at @crosstownconcourse, one of my favorite Memphis go-to spots and 901RunClub's Sunday afternoon run meetup location. It was a perfect backdrop to show off both the athletic and community sides of the crew.
Shooting the Session
We kept things natural with a Memphis "Grit&Grind" vibe. Some shots were about movement...
... and other shots were about connection— little in-between moments that tell the real story.
The Final Vibe
When I look back at the gallery, what stands out most is the energy. There’s this mix of grit and joy that perfectly sums up what @901RunClub is all about. It feels authentic, bold, and community-driven... exactly what we wanted to capture.
And of course, we carved out time for clean portraits for three co-founders of 901RunClub can use on social and beyond.
This session was such a reminder of why I love branding photography: it’s not just about polished images, it’s about helping teams and communities see themselves in the best light.
